8 July 2023 – 10 March 2024 | Design Museum, London.
The ‘How to Build a Low-Carbon Home’ exhibition at London’s Design Museum explores how we can design homes to respond to the climate emergency, given that almost 30% of global carbon emissions are caused by construction and the running of buildings.
The exhibition features the works of contemporary architects and engineers reimagining wood, stone and straw to construct low-carbon housing. It features full-scale installations, models, samples, tools, and photography. Photograph of Interior of Flat House, Margent Farm, Cambridgeshire, by Material Cultures, by Oskar Proctor.
