The Industrial Design team at architects Foster + Partners have designed the FSB 1291 and FSB 1292 lever door and window handles for German ironmongery manufacturer FSB. The FSB 1291 lever handle has a short handle and a pronounced contact surface with rounded edges, while the FSB 1292 features a longer grip. The collection is available in aluminium, stainless steel and bronze.
The Aluminium Pure finish eliminates the final processing stages to reduce energy and water consumption and simplify recycling. The aluminium used has a footprint of 4 kg CO2/kg, a quarter of the global average. Image of FSB 1291 © FSB. FSB, Foster + Partners Industrial Design
