The Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio designed the Proxima kitchen for the Italian design company Arclinea. The Proxima kitchen accommodates large appliances and incorporates elements such as Hortus, which allows for cultivating small vegetables using hydroponic technology, and Inverso, a cabinet that allows for a complete rotation of its contents. The handles of the units allow for ease of use of the drawers and doors.
The stainless steel island adapts to the American 76.2 cm modularity and facilitates working from both sides. The worktop houses two flush-mounted washbasins with a sliding PaperStone® grid and features a high-performance stove oven. The perimeter handles also function as a dish towel holder. Arclinea
